Any additional sessions are charged at the above rates. Holiday Clubs are charged from 9.15a.m.-3.30p.m

Any additional taster sessions are payable as and when you book them. Children can have one free taster session and then up to another three which are charged. These taster sessions can be booked up until 1p.m and if you require a hot lunch for these sessions please let Miss Nicci know.

All invoices are to be paid on the first day your child comes to The Park of that particular term. If these fees are not paid there will be a £25 surcharge for the first week that fees are late and then an additional £5 per week after that. E.g if fees are 3 weeks late there will be a fee of £35 to pay. Please understand that by paying your fee’s late incurs a larger job for accountants and admin staff, this charge covers their time and effort in dealing with late charges.

If we continue to have problems receiving your payment after the late payments have been added on then a further 20% will be added before further action is taken.

We are also adding a £25 additional charge to those parents who pay by Direct Debit or through monthly childcare voucher schemes, due to additional paperwork and accountants time lining up fees with each child. Also, please could you either e-mail or text us to let us know when the money (and how much) has been transferred. Occasionally, money gets put against someone else’s account if we have not been informed who has paid us, this also leads to extra admin costs.

When your child turns three the over three rate applies, however this does not occur until the half term  after they turn three.

When the time comes for your child to move to their next school a terms notice is required. If this is not met then the £100 deposit will be taken along with the remainder of the outstanding terms fees.

A £100.00 deposit secures a place on the schools waiting list but does not guarantee particular sessions. Sessions are allocated the term before your child is due to start and we are usually able to accommodate everyone’s requirements. Your deposit will be returned after your child has left minus any outstanding charges, provided the necessary notice of a term has been given.

The Park Pre-School run Mother & Toddler sessions at The Park which runs from 1:30pm to 2:45pm on Monday afternoons during term times running alongside our normal afternoon session. The toddlers and their parents are offered the opportunity to join in with a Music and Movement session from 1:30pm to 1:45pm followed by refreshments and a play. The cost is £3 per child and pre-booking is not always necessary but may be advisable as places are limited. Places can be reserved for a whole half term by paying in advance.

Shropshire Funding - early years entitlement and 24U

It has been confirmed today (5th June 2015) that eligable 3-4 year olds living in Shropshire can use their funded 15 hours here at The Park. We cannot believe it, this is something we have battled over with the authorities for over 12 years and we finally have a result. Your child will be eligable for this funding the term after their 3rd birthday. For example: a child turns three on October the 5th, they are then entitled to 15 funded hours in January.

The rate for the free hours does not, however, meet out hourly rate. The rate funded is only £3.90per hour, and we are £5.30 per hour. So the extra £1.40 is payable by yourselves.

Your child can split their 15 funded hours between ourselves and another early years setting.

To register your child for their 15 hours funded childcare you need to express your interest with Miss Nicci and she will fill in the necessary paperwork.

We also take Shropshire 24U funding too, for this please contact Neville Ward on 01743 254552 or e-mail him at Neville.ward@shropshire.gov.uk

Other available ways of paying - Also see our Policies section for more detail

Childcare Vouchers

We also accept a variety of childcare vouchers to help pay for childcare. This can easily be organised by your employer and let us know the name of your provider and we can make sure we are registered with them. See the Governments website for more details of how it works https://www.gov.uk/childcare-vouchers-better-off-calculator.

Invoices
You will receive 3 invoices each academic year. Fees for the Term ahead are payable in full on the first session that your child attends that term.

The invoice for the Autumn Term is sent in August, the Spring Term invoice is sent in December and the Summer Term invoice is sent in either March or April depending on when Easter falls. If you foresee a problem in settling your account on time we ask that you discuss this with us in advance, for example if you are likely to be on holiday and therefore not receive the invoice.

The cut off date for bill payment is shown on your invoice. Please ensure that you send cheques or vouchers by the due date to the address on the invoice.

Notice

We require a whole terms notice for a cancellation of a child's place with us at The Park. If this is not adhered to then your deposit of £100 and a forfeit of the remainding terms fees will be put in place. We require this notice as staff are contracted on a term by term basis and to keep to our adult:child ratio in place we must abide by this. If owed fee's from insufficient notice are late (as stated below) a charge of £25 is added to the original amount, if this is not paid by the date stated then an additional 20% will be added. If this amount is still not paid then legal action may have to be taken.

Late Payment Of Invoices
All invoices are to be paid on the first day your child comes to The Park of that particular term. If these fees are not paid there will be a £25 surcharge for the first week that fees are late and then an additional £5 per week after that. E.g if fees are 3 weeks late there will be a fee of £35 to pay. Please understand that by paying your fee’s late incurs a larger job for accountants and admin staff, this charge covers their time and effort in dealing with late charges.

Late Collection
We ask that you pick up your child promptly for the following reasons:
• It is upsetting for a child to be left behind after the others have gone
• By law, appropriate staff ratios have to be maintained at all times.
• It is very inconvenient when the teachers have other commitments straight from work which they are unable to keep if they are forced to stay behind at the last minute
• Staff that stay behind are paid on an overtime basis.

We regret that late collections became such a problem in the past that we introduced late collection charges. These charges will automatically be added to your next invoice and these payments will contribute towards the teacher’s additional wages. The charges are structured as follows:

There will be a charge of £5.98 for every 15 minutes or part of that you are late collecting your child. These charges apply for each session and so for example if a child is collected between 1.00 pm and 1.15 pm 3 times in a term there will be a charge of 3 x £5.98 automatically added to the next invoice. Late Collection Charges are non-negotiable and we appreciate your understanding with this matter. Should any charges remain outstanding these will be deducted from your original deposit.

Deposits

The £100 deposit required to secure a place at The Park is refunded the term after your child has left us. This applies when the applicable full terms notice has been adhered to. If this has not been the case then a full terms fees will be required as staffing has been allocated in advance.

Children are accepted at The Park on the understanding that any late payment and late collection charges and any other charges that remain outstanding will be deducted from your original deposit. If you have any questions about this please make contact with us prior to enrolling your child at The Park.
